Architectural Control Committee Submissions
All projects must be approved by the ACC before any work commences on the property.
How to Submit
-
Where to Send: Email all required project documents listed below to NorwoodVillageACC@gmail.com
-
Submission Deadline: Submissions must be received at least 7 days before a scheduled ACC meeting
-
Review Timeline: The ACC will issue a formal decision within 60 days of receiving a complete submission.
-
City Alignment: All plans submitted to the ACC must be identical to the versions that have been (or will be) submitted to the City of Bellevue.
Ongoing Compliance & Cross-Verification
All building files, revisions, and inspection records submitted to the City of Bellevue are public record and are routinely reviewed by Norwood Village to verify alignment with ACC-approved plans. Please keep your plans current and accurate. If plans do not match at any point during the project, the ACC may convene an expedited meeting to evaluate the discrepancy, which may result in the suspension or revocation of your ACC approval status, stop work directives, or other enforcement actions under our governing docs.
What Happens if My Plans Change?
To maintain your active ACC approval status, the homeowner is responsible for:
-
Notifying the ACC in advance of any official City plan revision (REV) or expected on-site field changes (variances).
-
Re-submitting full, updated plans to the ACC for evaluation
All complete re-submissions will be reviewed at the next regular ACC meeting to determine if the changes alter your approval status. While it is rare for revisions or field changes to be material enough to impact your overall approval, homeowners are highly encouraged to secure ACC change approval well in advance. Executing unapproved changes may result in project delays and corrective expenses at the owner's own expense.
Please email NorwoodVillageACC@gmail.com with any questions.
